Preface: Today's society likes to research others' reviews of products/services before we purchase. In today's message Mark is writing God's preview of Jesus' ministry. Refer to Isaiah 49:5-6

Main points:
1. The Approval of the Servant.

• The Son's dedication (Mark 6:3; John 1:46)
• The Spirit's descension (scripture reference: Acts 2:32-36)
• The Father's declaration (scripture reference: Isaiah 42:1, Psalm 2:7)

2. The Authority of the Servant.

• Jesus Authority over Satan (Mark 1:12; Psalm 95:10; Matthew 4:1-11)
• Jesus Authority over creation (Isaiah 11:6-10)
• Jesus Authority over angels.

Key Application Points:
1. God keeps His promises.
2. God's ways are always perfect and best.
3. Submit to the authority of Jesus Christ.
